Activation Manual

Once your device is powered on in an area with 4G mobile reception, it will automatically begin a 7-day free trial. To continue using your device beyond this trial, please ensure:

  • The tracker is connected, receiving signal, and updating in the app.
  • You top up the first year’s SIM credit before the trial period ends.
  • Topping up after the 7-day trial will mean a 10–20 min delay on connection.

  • Each SIM is digitally locked to its tracker and cannot be used in other devices.
  • If removed and inserted elsewhere, the SIM will be automatically deactivated and cannot be reused.

  • First Year:
    • SIM Credit: $45 AUD (includes nationwide multi-network coverage)
    • Google Map service: FREE
  • Renewal After Year 1:
    • Combined SIM credit + Google Maps app fee: $75 AUD per year
    • Renewal to be done directly in the app via the bottom-menu “Expiry” tab.

  2. Confirm SIM ID
    The activation page below will auto-fill the SIM ID. Double-check this matches the SIM ID on your tracker’s sticker.
  3. Proceed to Payment
    Click ‘Proceed to Activation’ below to make your payment.
  4. Enter Your Email
    No PayPal account? No problem—enter a valid email and credit card to complete payment. This email is used for payment confirmation and renewal reminders.
  5. Payment Successful
    A ‘Payment Successful’ message will appear once payment is complete. Review the displayed information for accuracy.
  6. Email Confirmation
    Activation usually takes about 10 minutes. You’ll receive an email confirming successful activation.
    If you don’t receive confirmation within 30 minutes: your device may be offline or there may be a payment/system issue. Contact us at support@lintek.co.nz. If activation fails, payments are automatically refunded within 7 days.
